Make the move

As we continue to grow from #strengthtostrength, we have several opportunities across Victoria and Darwin for OTs and Speechies interested in:

  • Join a diverse, like-minded multidisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals.
  • Creating a safe space for you to feel included, valued, supported and heard.
  • Social model – creating a difference for all Australians with a disability, but also, providing a culturally safe and supportive health service for First Nation Australians.
  • We want to encourage collaboration within the team, but also provide a quality of service that ‘just makes sense’.
  • Structured supports provided by senior leadership team.
  • Senior leadership team are all therapists themselves; they continue to work in the NDIS space so are close to the ground and understand the difficulties and nuances of being a therapist in the NDIS.
  • Annual cultural training on First Nation Australians including presentations on various topics that support our service delivery.

Why should you join the Cameron Wellness Centre team?

I believe in the values of the company where inclusivity is the core of their business. I also feel that CWC aims to empower clinicians to thrive in their roles and given the opportunity to contribute to its success. The company has a streamline approach and is very responsive to feedback from clinicians on the ground.

Ann Jandayan

When started thinking about returning to work after having a baby, I wanted to make sure the workplace I chose felt supportive, understanding, and flexible for this season of my life. I also wanted to know I was working for a company who embodied their values and had a mission I felt aligned with. Cameron Wellness Centre has exceeded my expectations. They are a company of integrity. My first-hand experience is that they uphold their values of Family, Community, Trust, and Respect. I am so grateful that Dean and Reece reached out to me and presented me with the opportunity to join the team. I feel valued and supported each day and I would happily recommend CWC to anyone.

Ashleigh Trollope

As a new graduate, I wanted to work for a company that cared about their participants and whose culture and values matched with mine. I have found that Cameron Wellness Centre is a place that values their clients, no matter their age, race, ethnicity, or abilities. They also value their clinicians. The CWC team has been so welcoming and supportive with every step of the transition from student to practitioner and I am very grateful to be able to able to be a part of the team.

Throughout the last 10 years as an Occupational Therapist, I have worked for large and small organisations, city and rural and even international. In all these roles, I felt like a key factor was missing, until I met Dean and Reece and heard their personal stories and their dream for Cameron Wellness Centre. This resonated with me a lot as I have been consistently wanting to align myself with a company who is striving to provide the best service for ALL regardless of what walk of life we started from. I love the fact that our directors have trust and belief in all staff and they look after their staff with care and generosity.

CLAUDIA HEDBERG

I joined CWC because I wanted to be part of a team of experienced OTs who could support my growth as a clinician. I also placed a lot of importance on workplace culture, and CWC has definitely followed through on that! CWC’s values really resonated with me, and it just felt like a natural fit to join the team.

DANNIELLE SMITH

We are not only owners but have lived experience in this space. We know from a participant/stakeholder perspective what people are going through and we have structured our client framework to reflect this. Being a ‘clinician centric’ organisation is important to us. We have many friends in the industry who feel burnt out and we have lots of really good clinicians leaving the NDIS because of this. This is why we have introduced really fair and achievable KPIs and a compulsory allowance for all clinicians to focus on their L&D.

DEAN SARDELLIS

I love working at CWC because of the welcoming and extremely supportive environment provided, that allows me to learn and grow as a clinician.

Felicia Kapeleri

I joined Cameron Wellness Centre because the values of the company and the owners, Dean and Reece, truly resonate with the clinician I am and the work I desire to do. I believe quality healthcare should be accessible to all, regardless of background, race, or ability, and the commitment of CWC to ensure this for their participants is what sets them apart from the rest. CWC values employee’s well-being and provides a positive, collaborative, and supportive culture for clinicians, which translates to better outcomes for participants. CWC has provided me with great opportunities to develop and grow professionally, and it has been an incredible experience to be a part of a thriving and growing company.

Jenna rowles

As a proud Wiradjuri woman, who is passionate about providing first class care I love that I wake up every day with the opportunity to make a difference to mob. Yarning with Reece, Dean and Mervin, hearing their passion for high quality therapy and care for mob, it was an easy YES! In 2006, my Dad shared with me his story and the history of my family. When I found out I was a Wiradjuri woman, it all made sense to me. I have been learning so much about culture (one I have been doing with my children). Working with CWC is the next step in me giving back to my culture and being an active member of my aboriginal community. I hope you join me, help me develop my knowledge and wake up excited every day to support out mob to achieve their goals

As Business Strategy & Relationship Manager, my role is varied and extremely rewarding. Working with Cameron Wellness Centre is even more rewarding because of the commitment and vision of the people I work with. I always enjoy interacting with staff, clients, embracing the challenges in our sector, and knowing I can be instrumental in supporting us to meet these challenges and make a real difference in our community.

Working alongside a team of genuine, like-minded individuals was why I decided to join Cameron Wellness Centre. My role includes collaborating with all individuals within Cameron Wellness Centre to collectively develop a service that just makes sense. Cameron Wellness Centre prioritises the clinician to ensure they feel valued, heard, and supported to do a great job within their profession by providing the tools and resources needed to ensure work-life balance is achievable. Being an occupational therapist myself and working within the community space for some time now, it goes without saying that having a supportive team around you, alongside leaders who have a personal experience in your shoes can truly make all the difference when it comes to one’s learning and professional growth. To not feel limited on who you can reach out to when needing support in any area is incredible, as it shows that throughout the organisation, we all strive to provide a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

NADINE TOIC

I joined CWC for the work-life balance, supportive team, the company values, and the efficient work processes. My role as Clinical Manager is to support other therapists at all levels of experiences to foster the tools and learning they need to do the therapy they do best. It’s so valuable to have access to experienced therapists, efficient admin team, as well as use of functional processes, resources, and templates. Not to mention the client management system of Splose for a seamless workflow! CWC holds strong values and processes in place to support all Australians on the NDIS, so my therapy has a stronger impact for those who need it most. The work in Darwin is diverse and rewarding and it’s great to work for a company which reflects this.

Rachel hubble

Being an Aboriginal man “closing the gap” isn’t just a tick box so our clinicians are our top priority, without a happy supported clinician its impossible to provide culturally safe best practice intervention to our participants.

Reece dumbell

I joined Cameron Wellness Centre because I wanted to work for a company whose values align with my own and support my professional growth. CWC has provided a welcoming environment for me to begin my clinical career as a new graduate speech pathologist, and the support I’ve received from my team members means a lot to me.
